Maine People. Do you hate Time Warner Cable?
Time Warner Cable is refusing to reach an agreement with the NFL Network to show give people here in Maine the NFL Network with our Basic cable packages which already cost us $60 or more a month. Instead, they want to make it part of a Premium package that would cost us another $30 a month. I for one am considering Direct TV which gives it as part of their basic plan. I am not affiliated with Direct TV in any way. I’m just a ticked off Time Warner Cable subscriber. If the Patriots go undefeated and Time Warner will not find a way to televise the final regular season game up here that does not cost a lot of money, they deserve to be boycotted and tossed out of the state. At least Comcast has a sports package with the NFL Network for only $7.95 a month but they only go as far as Sanford I think.
Time Warner always sucked, now they suck even more.
Well i’m not in Maine but i hate Time warner too.I’m in New York and you get terrible service and expensive rates. We get our cable, digital phine and internet through them and we are always having trouble with the service and the people who work there. We pay a fortune every month for crappy service but it’s the only cable company in this small town.I had Comcast when i was back home in Oregon and it was cheaper and i didn’t go through all this crap.Good luck on your football.

dish vs direct satellite tv
Wednesday, August 31st, 2011Seriously give me your thoughts on DirectTV vs DISH vs Time Warner Cable. I would have all three services,?
and do realize that I would have to go with another company if I choose satellite. I just do not know how reliable DirectTV and DISH are; I have always been a TWC subscriber. One direct question I have is, with a small 13″ or 19″ tv, with cable, I could just plug it into the outlet and have TV. With Satellite, would I need to have a box?
Yes, the satellite TV provider will provide a box and you’ll need to use it to change channels.
I have been using Dish for many years and it’s been fairly reliable. When I first started the signal were affected a few times by heavy rain, but not recently. I live in California and we don’t get much thunderstorms here.
