Can my laptop handle the Hauppauge HD PVR?

Would you be able to manage with a Hauppauge HD PVR to my computer? Obviously http://www.hauppauge.co.uk/site/products/data_hdpvr.html ScreenCap also need someone I can help my laptop if I could cope? Also what extra items you need to get the audio to work without a mixer or stereo mix? Thanks
