dish vs direct satellite tv

Seriously give me your thoughts on DirectTV vs DISH vs Time Warner Cable. I would have all three services,?

and do realize that I would have to go with another company if I choose satellite. I just do not know how reliable DirectTV and DISH are; I have always been a TWC subscriber. One direct question I have is, with a small 13″ or 19″ tv, with cable, I could just plug it into the outlet and have TV. With Satellite, would I need to have a box?

Yes, the satellite TV provider will provide a box and you’ll need to use it to change channels.

I have been using Dish for many years and it’s been fairly reliable. When I first started the signal were affected a few times by heavy rain, but not recently. I live in California and we don’t get much thunderstorms here.

Can I have satellite TV (Dish Network or Direct TV), without the company having to install?

Satellite the roof or outside the building? Look, I live in the construction of a multi-unit and allow the cable television from us, but do not let the dishes satellite attached to the building. One step that did not back out of wooden terraces. I'm in the Chicago area!

Well, if you get an antenna system please have a written permission from owner describing where you can put. You can, in theory, place the dish at home, if the window is facing the right way. Go www.fcc.gov to the exact wording of the place where you can put. I work for a satellite company and honesty, I do recommend it to a floor in the apartment. You may will not be able to get a line of sight anyway.

Help! Adolescence is on vacation! How I can connect a TV, DVD / VCR, satellite receiver and HD?

I cables high quality and I'm not sure how to put together. I did it once before but could only watch a DVD with your stereo receiver, and I could only watch TV the TV speakers. I want the thread to the right this time. Help! :)

There are many ways to do this … if you have a receiver, then all must connect the device: TV, DVD, HD satellite, so the receiver must have more input jacks to handle all this equipment. The output of the TV enters the input receptor. Output from the satellite is at the entrance to the receiver, and so on. Look behind your receiver and will probably find all the shots are labeled (DVD video, DVD audio left and right in the DVD audio, etc, etc.) Assuming that the receiver also serves as a radio, which should already have speakers connected. Select Mode option in the front of the receiver you want to see, and automatically process audio. Write back if you need help.
