Direct TV, or FiOS Xfinity?

I plan to spend my Internet TV / Verizon, since overcharging like crazy. Direct TV is cheap, but it is true that many satellites disorder or cut the signal / reliable? I have FiOS at this time but is worth having? – Payment of $ 250 and does not include DVR or HD.
