I recently bought a MacBook (2.14 GHz Core 2 Duo, 2GB RAM) and I would like to have the ability to watch my satellite TV on it wirelessly (fullscreen of course). The MacBook has “AirPort” and Bluetooth capabilities. I have it hooked up to the internet thru a Belkin N wireless router using AirPort. Is there some kind of wireless transmitter I could plug my Dish Network DVR reciever into so I could use the AirPort or bluetooth to watch TV on the MacBook? I would appriciate any help-thanx!
Try looking up SLINGBOX , people have been watching Satellite TV from home while on the road with a laptop connected to WiFi .
I’ve heard it works pretty good , you can even change the channels on it , best of all you can watch your home TV anywhere.
Ok, I have 15 and I'm seriously going to start my own commercial airline. I much research on this and I take a lot of classes in business school so I could learn how to create my own airline. So if anyone has any advice very please tell me that this would be greatly appreciated. So far my plans for my company Air would be,,,, I'll start slowly and is among the cities that will for the first couple of years 1. Salt Lake City, UT 2. Los Angeles, CA 3. Denver, CO 4. Phoenix AZ 5. Las Vegas, NV. As I said, I will start small and increase very gradually. The main base will be in Salt Lake City, UT and a second base will be Los Angeles, CA. the two main bases have no more than 4 flights per day and other selected cities 01.02 flights linking the cities of Salt Lake and Los Angeles. My company will be entertainment such as live TV. Snacks and drinks are served. I know I need a lot of money and an investor. I'm going to the World Bank $ $
I think we definitely have a plan and it seems a good start. However, you should also know that there to negotiate landing slots at airports and leased space. His workers syndicate or not? Also what type of aircraft being used? The transport sector Air is very competitive and the price of oil is very high right now. The competition is tough because most cities that are served in direct competition with operators traditional. Salt Lake City is dominated by Delta and Skywest. If it opens there, Delta will reduce its prices to match what your airline to offer trying to exit the market. Delta fact that many of the companies that are in Cincinnati (where I live). The low cost airline can not fight based Delta the price because many people have miles with Delta Delta parties if the price structure will be in contact with Delta. LAX has a lot of companies like United, American, Delta and Southwest flights to many cities for people in Los Angeles may have a frequent flyer account with one of these airlines. Las Vegas is dominated US Airways (America West used the center) and South West so the competition will be tough there. Many people go to Las Vegas and entertainment for the price of a ticket can not be super high. Denver is dominated by the United States, but the Frontier has a large number of flights from DEN. Want Perhaps what makes research Border stand and why people are ready to fly instead of Britain. Phoenix is a central U.S. Airways, but Southwest has a large number of flights from that city. There are many things to consider before opening an airline. I see you have a passion for this industry is good. Remember that competition can will be fierce and many airlines in the market and many airlines out. It's survival of the fittest. We also think it might be useful if you works for an airline before, because then the experience and can convince investors why they should invest in your business.
