What are the uses of having a 256 MB or higher video card other than gambling?
I intend to get probably a new computer since mine is an old Pentium III, model 2000, with a very slow speed (666 MHz), without a FireWire port and no separate video card. But I wonder, is it necessary to obtain a PC with a good brand (name), video card with at least 256 MB? Not interested in the game by the way, but I am interested in the high picture resolution and video editing, high-resolution real-time satellite image display (such as Google maps, etc.) and high resolution TV or video to watch on my PC. So I do not know if the software for high-resolution image and video editing requires a good video card with memory in the itself, separate from the rest of the system to function better and not make the system runs out of memory and crash. All suggestions are highly appreciated.
Although I Graphics Card 256MB Nvidia and that is good. The graphics card doen't really improve the graphics, but it speeds up the performance. Having a screen 20 "flat monitor support for graphics and screen entertaimnet.
